Wizard Cat Pro Power Catfish Rod

In both design and technical parameters, the Wizard Cat Pro Power belongs to the category of modern catfishing gear!

Its most striking feature is the handle and the reel seat. Besides providing a perfect grip with its high-density EVA handle, it's immediately noticeable that there is another part beyond the upper grip where we can "grab onto" during the fight. Due to the exertion of force, this additional grip plays a significant role, as during tougher fights, it's necessary to resist the fish with considerable force and try to bring it closer to us as quickly as possible!

The reel seat, entirely made of metal, securely holds the reel in place, even during the fight, without loosening or breaking off!

800-1000 gram model: The blank diameter above the upper grip is 15.3 mm. 

600-800 gram model: The blank diameter above the upper grip is 16.5 mm.

The cross reinforcement running along the entire length of the rod is quite noticeable, reducing the risk of breakage. It features a truly robust guide set (11 pieces), which, thanks to its design, prevents our line from twisting. Its classic SIC inserts hold up well, without damaging the line.

It has a stiff action throughout, right to the tip, allowing for decisive hook sets.

Interestingly, a sturdy metal ring has been placed on the hook holder eye, which facilitates hooking large catfish hooks. At the joints, there is extra wrapping and thicker varnish, addressing another critical point!

Primarily recommended for shore fishing, for closer retrieves, and casts using any method.
